| Leixlip 1-10 Maynooth 2-7 |
Report: Leixlip and Maynooth played out a very exiciting Under 21 Championship match in Radley Park. Both teams were slow to settle and scores were low. The game was nip and tuck and Leixlip looked to be on the way out only for Paul O Neill to score a brillant goal. The game ebbed and flowed and both sets of supporters were biting their nails. maynooth looked to be in the driving seats after a goal from a penalty by Michael Fahy and a further goal by Conor O Brien in extra time.
